NLRC has maintained an active mineral exploration and development program for its vast property holdings.
Utilizing grassroots exploration, data compilation from over 150 years of exploration and mining records, and the application of new exploration models and deposit theories, NLRC's land position offers excellent potential for the discovery of significant mineral deposits. With large land positions in the Carlin, Battle Mountain, Getchell, Humboldt-Austin, and Walker Lane gold trends, NLRC's property position constitutes a very attractive package for gold exploration. In addition to precious metal potential, NLRC's land holdings are also prospective for base metal, oil and gas, industrial mineral, aggregate, and decorative stone development.
Through the course of business, NLRC has retained royalty interests in minerals, oil, and gas production.
Although not currently producing, the future significance of these royalty interests is promising. Our mineral royalties encompass approximately 73,000 acres, held in partnerships with major gold
producers. Royalties on oil and gas production are controlled on 32,000 acres.
Utilizing NLRC's asset as a land bank for the mining
industry offers tremendous potential for reducing environmental concerns and permitting requirements. NLRC is working with both mining companies and the Bureau of Land
Management on land sales and trades. NLRC offers land to entities seeking to gain fee title to federal land, mining claims or for mitigation trades. This fee land will be utilized in
mine facilities and real estate development by industry. In trade the BLM will receive land valuable for wildlife habitat and watershed protection.
Currently, NLRC is seeking qualified purchasers or joint venture partners, in whole or in
part, to engage in mineral exploration and development of our vast asset. Through exploration options, leases, land sales, joint venture or partnership formation, NLRC
intends to generate successful business opportunities through property and mineral development.
