Nevada Land and Resource Company owns in excess of 1,000,000 acres of geothermal rights located in northern Nevada, making NLRC the largest private owner of geothermal rights in Nevada. Our geothermal rights are located in and adjacent to 14 Known Geothermal Resource Areas (KGRAs). We currently manage 7 geothermal leases totaling 16,500 acres in varying stages of development with five companies, including: Ormat Technologies, Presco Energy, Nevada Geothermal Power Company, Vulcan Power Company and Earth Power Resources. Exploration and development opportunities exist with NLRC for future geothermal resource development.
